Buon lunedi!
proviamo a ricominciare la nostra navigazione nel bello della rete dopo la pausa estiva (non assicuro assoluta costanza perchè l'imprevisto è ormai all'ordine del giorno nella nostra routine).
Ieri pomeriggio causa maltempo è saltata la festa che avevamo pensato di fare al mare per Adele, di conseguenza ci siamo riposati e divanati a casa (mentre la baby dormiva) e ho avuto tempo di curiosare un pò nel web.  Attraverso Pinterest ho scoperto questa rivista online, RAWR MAGAZINE,  che esplora il mondo della moda, del design, dell'arte e il lifestyle dal punto di vista nordico, per la precisione finlandese, credendo che l'infanzia sia un luogo magico e senza fine.
Per entrare più nello specifico sulla rivista potete trovare servizi fotografici di moda curati, scenografici e quasi magici dove i protagonisti sono bambini che sembrano proprio divertirsi come poi dichiarano nelle interviste che spesso accompagnano gli shoot; inoltre RAWR propone articoli su vari eventi di moda e design e aggiornamenti sulle collezioni di stagione.
La rivista è accompagnata anche da un blog che tiene aggiornati su eventi più quotidiani e si destreggia tra ricette, streets lifestyle e editoriali di moda.

let's start our navigation in the beauty of the network after the summer break (but I can't assure absolute constancy because the unexpected is now part of our routine).
Yesterday afternoon due to bad weather we had to skip Adele's party that we had intended to do on the beach, so we rested on the couch at home (while the baby was sleeping) and I had a little time to browse the web. Through Pinterest I discovered  RAWR an online magazine, which explores the world of fashion, design, art and lifestyle from the perspective of Nordic, Finnish to be precise, believing that "childhood is a magical place with forever beginnings and never-ends, bottomless earth and limitless skies".
In the magazine you can find fashion shoots, dramatic and almost magical where the protagonists are children that look just as fun then declare in interviews that often accompany the shoot; RAWR also offers articles on various events of fashion and design and updates on seasonal collections .
The magazine is also accompanied by a blog that keeps up to date on events and daily juggles recipes, streets lifestyle and fashion editorials.

Buongiorno!
chiudiamo questa settimana tornando virtualmente allo scorso weekend, e precisamente a sabato che è stato un giorno davvero speciale essendosi sposata mia sorella Lucia. Il matrimonio è stato bellissimo, cerimonia splendida e festa divertente e curata nei dettagli, quasi tutti handmade da mia sorella.
Adele era in gran forma e ha fatto la sua figura con un look bianco e grigio di cotone e tulle. Il pezzo forte dell'outfit era certamente il tutù abbinato alla t-shirt bianca con applicazione a forma di fiore coordinata alla gonnellina, entrambi i pezzi acquistati a New York da Smoochie Baby (quindi ancora più magici!!) ma devo dire che  mi sono divertita molto a cercare il resto: calzetti (customizzati con tulle bianco, grazie alla mia amica Annalisa), sandaletti e maglioncino... voi che ne dite?

Good morning!
we close this week going virtually back to the last weekend, namely to Saturday which was a very special day having married my sister Lucia. The wedding was beautiful, an amazing ceremony and a party fun with a great attention to detail, almost all handmade by my sister.
Adele was in great shape and made her figure with a white and gray cotton and tulle look. The highlight of the outfit was certainly the tutu combined with the white t-shirt with flower-shaped application, coordinated to the skirt, both pieces bought in New York at Smoochie Baby (then even more magical!) but I have to say that I had a lot of fun to look for the rest: socks (customized with white tulle, thanks to my friend Anna), shoes and sweater... What do you say?

Un nuovo inizio...

Buon mercoledì,

questi ultimi giorni sono stati caratterizzati da grandi novità per Adele ma anche per me e Luca. La più eclatante, dopo il compleanno è sicuramente l'inizio dell'asilo!

Ebbene si, il fatidico giorno del distacco ufficiale dalla mia baby è arrivato ed è stato tutto diverso da qualsiasi programmazione perchè l' "inserimento", questa specie di mantra per qualsiasi genitore, lo sta facendo Luca, che è bravissimo ormai nel ruolo di papà-tuttofare, e Adele, con qualche comprensibile pianto si sta ambientando e divertendo...un'oretta alla volta!

Da oggi, zainetto in spalla (naturalmente speciale per lei: è stato il mio regalo acquistato a Londra un paio di settimane fa quando ci sono stata qualche giorno per lavoro!!!) per portarsi dietro i compagni inseparabili e ancora preziosi (biberon e ciuccio!) più bavaglini per il pranzo (fatti fare ad hoc per Adele da una mia amica) e cambio completo in caso di emergenza...

Good Wednesday

These last few days have been marked by great news for Adele but also for Luca and me. The most striking, after the birthday, is definitely the beginning of nursery!

Yes, the fateful day of the official separation from my baby arrived and it was completely different from any programming because Luca is going with her for the "insertion", this kind of mantra for any parent , and he's very good in the role of dad, and Adele, with some understandable crying is settling and having fun ... an hour at a time!

From now on, backpack on her shoulder (of course very special: it was my gift bought in London a couple of weeks ago when I was there a few days for my job!) to carry on her inseparable and still valuable companions (baby bottle and pacifier !) plus bibs (especially made for Adele by a friend of us) for lunch and a complete change in case of emergency...

oggi è una giornata super speciale: è il primo compleanno di Adele!!
TANTI AUGURI alla mia baby che da 365 giorni (ma in realtà da molto prima, da quando ha iniziato a crescere dentro di me...) ha davvero "spostato tutti i miei confini", capovolto la mia vita e ribaltato le mie priorità e le mie prospettive! E' impossibile descrivere tutto quello che è stato questo anno, ma non posso che essere grata a Dio per il dono che ci ha fatto, semplicemente perchè lei c'è ed è una meraviglia vederla crescere e cambiare ogni giorno.
Buon compleanno piccolina spero che sia il primo di tanti e che tu possa crescere e vivere sempre certa di essere amata e voluta così come sei...

Today is a super special day: it is the first birthday of Adele!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my baby who, since 365 days (but in reality long before, since she began to grow inside of me ...), has really  "moved my borders",  my life upside down and reversed my priorities and my prospects! It's impossible to describe everything has happened during this year, but I can only be grateful to God for the gift he has given us, simply because she is here and it is spectacular to see her grow and change every day.
Happy birthday little princess, I hope it is the first of many and that you can grow and live always certain to be loved and desired as you are ...

apriamo questa settimana di ferragosto e di ferie, almeno per la maggior parte degli italiani, con una nuova scoperta nel web. Si tratta di un sito di e-commerce per neonati e bambini fino a 10 anni: I DREAM ELEPHANTS. L'idea nasce da mamme che si sono messe insieme per creare un negozio dove poter trovare sempre qualcosa di bello per i propri figli, selezionando brand di tutto il mondo. Il sito è inglese ma consegnano in tutto il mondo (e in Italia a meno di 10 euro). Mi è piaciuta non solo l'ampia scelta che trovate ma soprattutto il fatto che l'ispirazione arrivi proprio dai bambini e dal loro gusto dettato dalla praticità e dal mix and match di stoffe, fantasie e colori. Molto divertente per le bimbe la pagina "anti-pink" per tutte le principesse che vogliono essere tali pur senza vestirsi sempre di rosa! Utile anche la pagina degli "outfits" per aiutare le mamme a farsi un'idea di come abbinare i prodotti.
Infine il blog vi terrà aggiornati sulle anteprime delle collezioni: Bobo Choses e Mini Rodini, solo per citare alcuni dei marchi che anche loro amano particolarmente!

we open this week of August and holidays, at least for most of the Italians, with a new discovery on the web. It is an e-commerce for babies and children up to 10 years: I DREAM ELEPHANTS. The idea was born from moms who came together to create a store where they can always find something good for their children, by selecting brands around the world. It is a British site but they deliver all over the world (and in Italy with less than 10 Euros). I liked it not only for the wide brands selection that you can find but especially for the fact that the inspiration actually comes from the children and their taste dictated by practicality and the mix and match of fabrics, patterns and colors. The girls will like the page "anti-pink" for all of those who want to be princesses even if they don't wear pink! Also useful the page of the "outfits" to help moms getting ideas of ​​how to match products.
Finally, the blog will keep you updated about the previews of the collections: Bobo Choses and Mini Rodini, to name just some of the brands that they also particularly love!

Buongiorno!
siamo arrivati alle porte del fine settimana: sto iniziando a prendere i ritmi ma il pensiero del sabato mattina in ufficio anche il 10 agosto non è proprio facile da digerire!!
Meno male che almeno Luca inizia le ferie e farà un pò il "mammo" della situazione godendosi il tempo con Adele (che tra l'altro oggi compie 11 MESI!!) che è sempre più simpatica e se la spassa al mare. Per cui l'outfit di oggi è molto semplice: costume fucsia a micropois bianchi e come copricostume uno dei miei ultimi acquisti su SMALLABLE ovvero la tshirt stampata di Little Marc Jacobs (uno dei miei stilisti preferiti!) che anche nella linea kids mantiene il suo stile ironico e divertente. Direi che è perfetta per andare in spiaggia!

we almost arrived at the weekend: I'm starting to get use with the job but the thought of Saturday morning at the office even 10 August is not exactly easy to digest!
Thank goodness that at least Luca begins the holidays and will do a little bit the "mom" of the situation, enjoying the time with Adele (which, by the way, today is 11 MONTHS!) who is always nicer and having much more fun at the sea. So today's outfit is very simple: costume fuchsia with white micro dots and as robes as one of my recent purchases on Smallable; I'm talking abouyt the printed tshirt by Little Marc Jacobs (one of my favorite designer!) who even in the kids line maintains his ironic and fun style. I would say that, as the printing shows, is perfect for going to the beach!

devo dire che questi giorni di distacco da Adele non sempre sono facili, mi manca molto la quotidianità con lei anche se vedo che è serena  (soprattutto perchè sta con la sua nonna milanese, che è una rarità!) e questo mi rende felice... e poi, me la godo alla grande appena ho del tempo libero!
Oggi prima di uscire, le ho preparato la tshirt "sponsor" della nostra estate che si sta caratterizzando soprattutto per i giri in bicicletta: ormai ci muoviamo solo su due ruote, che sia con me o con Luca, questo è diventato il nostro mezzo di trasporto preferito!! Perciò non potevo non acquistare questa magliettina bianca,
a domani!

Good morning!
I have to say that these days of separation from Adele are not always easy, I really miss the daily life with her ​​even if I see that she's happy (mainly because she is with her grandmother from Milan, which is a rarity here!) and that makes me serene... and then, I enjoy her as soon as I have free time!
Today before going out, I have prepared the t-shirt "sponsor" of our summer that is being characterized especially for cycling: now we move just on two wheels, it's with me or with Luca, this has become our favorite vehicle of transportation! Therefore, I could not buy this white t-shirt.

iniziamo questa settimana di caldo torrido con una bella surfata nel web.
Negli scorsi giorni ho fatto shopping online per Adele su alcuni dei siti che trovate segnalati anche nella nostra pagina SHOP ONLINE HERE. Devo ammettere che questa esperienza di acquisto inizia a piacermi sempre di più, ammetto, non è stato immediato imparare ma ora sto comprando delle vere chicche, soprattutto di brand che fatico a trovare da queste parti!

Jumpsuit: Nununu

Buon venerdi!
chiudiamo questa prima settimana di agosto con un outfit ovviamente molto leggero, adatto anche alle prossime giornate di caldo torrido!
Adele indossa una tutina smanicata, col pantaloncino corto appena sopra il ginocchio e un elastico alto qualche cm in vita, color rosa cipria con una stampa nera all over costituita da lettere in stampatello maiuscolo. L'abbiamo acquistata in un fantastico negozietto di Williamsburg a New York, e sono particolarmente contenta di aver scoperto questo brand che si chiama NUNUNU: fanno abbigliamento per bimbi da 0 a 6 anni. Lo stile di NUNUNU non è per nulla infantile, niente orsetti o fatine, al contrario si caratterizza per un'attitudine tutta particolare e il senso dell'umorismo, si guarda ai bambini cercando di creare però un prodotto che rispetti lo stile dei genitori, cool, urban e aggiornati. La qualità dei tessuti è ottima, i colori sono basici con un tocco sempre creativo e le forme sono spesso destrutturate per un look unico!
Direi una bella scoperta: date un'occhiata al sito per vedere l'intera collezione!

we close this first week of August with an outfit of course very light and also suitable for the upcoming hot summer days!
Adele wears a sleeveless jumpsuit with shorts just above the knees and an elastica on the waist, powder-pink with a black print all over consists of capital letters. We bought it in a fantastic little store in Williamsburg, New York, and I am especially happy to have discovered this brand called NUNUNU:  they make clothes for children from 0 to 6 years. The style of NUNUNU don't have teddy bears or fairies but is characterized by a very particular attitude and sense of humor, they look at the children, however, trying to create a product that respects the style of the parents, cool , urban and updated. The quality of fabrics is excellent, the colors are basic with a touch more creative and forms are often deconstructed for a unique look!
I would say a nice discovery: a look to the website to see the whole collection!
