ready for the final part of our London report?
GIORNO / DAY 3
Il terzo giorno si è aperto con colazione da Starbucks (I LOVE FILTERED COFFE!!!) e passeggiata lungo il Tamigi, nella zona di Southbank per arrivare alla TATE MODERN, uno dei miei musei preferiti in assoluto, sia per quanto riguarda la struttura ricavata da una vecchia fabbrica di turbine, sia per la collezione permanente ricca di capolavori moderni e contemporanei fantastici (prima fra tutte le stanza di Rothko!).
Anche Adele sembrava essere d'accordo con me e apprezzare l'arte dal momento che gorgheggiava a voce altissima nel silenzio delle sale...
The third day began with breakfast at Starbucks (I LOVE FILTERED COFFEE!) and walk along the Thames, in the Southbank district to get to the TATE MODERN, one of my favorite museums ever, either in terms of the structure obtained from an old turbine factory and for the rich permanent collection of modern and contemporary pieces...really great (first of all the room Rothko!).
Adele also seemed to agree with me and appreciate art as warbled loudly in the silence of the rooms...
Dopo questa infornata di cultura ci siamo (finalmente!) dati allo shopping sfruttando anche il periodo propizio dei saldi!!Abbiamo girato tutta la zona di Carnaby Street, la culla della swinging London degli anni '60 che è rimasta simbolo della moda più alternativa e di nicchia e poi ci siamo tuffati su Oxford street, mecca dell shopping più commerciale...al quale non abbiamo certamente rinunciato!
After all this culture morning we (finally!) went to shopping exploiting the favorable sales moment! We shot the whole area of Carnaby Street, the birthplace of the 60s swinging London that has remained the symbol of street and alternative fashion. Then we jumped on Oxford Street, the shopping Mecca... which we certainly have not given up!

fusion thailandese lungo il fiume, in una zona di locali molto carina tra London e Tower Bridge. Noi abbiamo optato per il
DimT che ci avevano consigliato non solo per il cibo ma anche per la vista, e siamo rimasti molto contenti! (ne approfitto, quindi, per ringraziare il mio amico Michele che ha fatto molto di più che consigliarci un ristorante, in quanto ci ha prestato la sua casa londinese, in posizione strategica per girare la città e ottima per far riposare Adele permettendole di sentirsi un pò "a casa"!)
Finally fusion Thai dinner along the Thames river, in a very nice area that we discovered between London and Tower Bridge. We opted for the DimT restaurant that we had been recommended not only for food but also for the amazing view, and we were very happy! (I take this opportunity, therefore, to thank my friend Michele, who has done much more than advise a restaurant, since it has lent his London apartment, in a strategic position to visit the city and great for Adele, allowing her to feel almost "at home"!)
GIORNO / DAY 4
Ultimo giorno dell'anno e per noi ultima giornata inglese, davvero Londinese dal momento che ha piovuto tutto il giorno!Non ci siamo comunque fatti scoraggiare e abbiamo concluso il nostro shopping alla grande tra Regent Street e Piccadilly Circus, sparando le ultime cartucce sulla Oxford, in modo particolare da Primark e poi, per Adele, da Next!
Per finire in bellezza abbiamo attraversato il Millenium Bridge e poi camminato fino al Tower Bridge a vedere lo skyline della city finanziaria...bellissimo!
Cenetta italiana (dopo la precedente tutta orientaleggiante!) e fuochi d'artificio prima di tornare a casa a fare le valigie, pronti per il rientro in Italia!
Last day of the year and, for us, last English day: really London style, since it has been raining all day! We obviously didn't give up and we finished our shopping between Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus, by shooting last cartridges on Oxford street, especially at Primark and then, for Adele, at Next!
Last but not least, we crossed the Millennium Bridge and then walked towards Tower Bridge to see the skyline of the financial city ... gorgeous!
Italian dinner (after the oriental night!) and fireworks before returning home to pack, ready to return to Italy!
Direi che abbiamo iniziato l'anno alla grande, ci serviva proprio un momento di vacanza in formato famiglia a tre!! Percià eccoci pronti a iniziare l'anno nuovo, curiosi di vedere cosa ci riserverà!

I would say that we started the year in a great way, the three of us really needed a moment of vacation together! So let's get ready to start and see what the new year will give us!
