oggi condivido con voi il regalo che ci è arrivato direttamente da Milano dalla mia amica Ilaria, che ho conosciuto al San Paolo dove eravamo compagne di stanza e di avventura nei primi giorni di vita di Adele e del suo Lorenzo!
Si tratta di una bellissima sacca porta oggetti rigorosamente handmade, di cotone e pannolenci che sarà perfetta per l'asilo!

Perchè, come ogni mamma sa bene, si tratta di molto di più: ovvero di un accessorio fondamentale e funzionale per accompagnare i primi mesi (o forse anni!) di ogni bambino!

Proprio perchè parliamo di un oggetto così importante per la quotidianità, non c'è motivo che non sia anche un accessorio esteticamente bello e ricercato, abbinabile con gli outfit (che molto spesso sono anche "salvati" dai bavaglini!) soprattutto quando si è in giro. 

Tutta questa premessa per dire quanto siano, perciò, stati graditi per questo Natale i due bavaglini regalati ad Adele dai nonni e dagli zii.

Si tratta di ideazioni e creazioni hand-made realizzate da Miriam, mamma che si è reinventata sarta, attentissima alla scelta di stoffe e tessuti che sono ricercati con cura e gusto e assemblati poi in modo da creare fantasie sempre diverse ma allo stesso tempo dallo stampo riconoscibile: potete trovare le sue creazioni, che spaziano dai bavaglini, alle sacche, alle tshirt, sul suo blog zig-zac , un'ottima scoperta!

Don't call it bib!Because, as every mum knows, it is much more: it's a fundamental and practical accessory to accompany the first few months (or even years!) of each child!

Just because we are talking about a very important accessory for every day life, there is no reason because bib should not also considered as an object aesthetically beautiful and refined, matched with the outfit (which very often are "saved" from it!) especially when you are out.

All this introduction to say how these two bibs were a very welcome Christmas gifts, donated to Adele from grandparents and uncles.

It is ideation and hand-made creations ​​by Miriam, mum who has reinvented herself as a seamstress, attentive to the choice of fabrics and textiles that are sought after with great care and taste, then assembled as to create patterns always different but at the same time with a recognizable style: you can find her creations, ranging from bibs, to kids bags and tshirt, on his blog zig-zac, great find!

oggi desidero condividere con voi l'avventura di Sono al Mondo, il progetto di Elena Tavelli, una super mamma di 3 bambini (complimenti!) che si è reinventata imprenditrice quasi per caso, decidendo di portare in Italia la pratica del BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT: letteralmete significa "annuncio di nascita", in pratica consiste nell'invio di biglietti che avvisano amici e parenti della nascita del proprio bimbo e che possono servire anche per ringraziare della vicinanza e dei doni ricevuti proprio in occasione del parto o durante la gravidanza.
Si tratta ormai di una consuetudine affermatasi in molti paese europei (soprattutto scandinavi!) e anche negli Stati Uniti; qui in Italia è invece una novità interessante che sta prendendo piede negli ultimi anni. Trovo che sia bellissimo rendere partecipi le persone che amiamo della gioia che si vive per la nascita di un figlio e farlo attraverso un biglietto, quindi un piccolo segno che rimane nel tempo, a misura di bambino, colorato, divertente, di qualità e personalizzabile a seconda delle esigenze di ciascuno è qualcosa di innovativo, duraturo e certamente più originale del classico messagino sul cellulare!
A questo servizio viene ora affiancato, da Elena,  il Progetto Natale per offrire auguri su misura nei quali alle illustrazioni si possono accompagnare le fotografie che vogliamo condividere!Insomma una bella idea in occasione delle feste!!

Today I want to share with you the adventure of Sono al mondo, the project of Elena Tavelli, a super mom of 3 kids (congrats!) who, almost by chance, has reinvented herself as entrepreneur and decided to bring the practice of BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT to Italy: it consists in sending cards that alert friends and family of the birth of his own child, and they are sometimes used to thank for the closeness and the gifts received on the occasion of the birth or during pregnancy.
This has become a beautiful tradition affirmed in many European countries (especially Scandinavian!) and also in the United States; here in Italy is rather an interesting news that is becoming bigger in recent years. I think it's wonderful sharing with people who you love the joy of the birth, and make it through a card, a small sign that will persist, suitable for children, colorful, fun, quality and customizable depending on the needs of each person is something innovative, durable and certainly more original classic text message!
For Christmas Elena added the Progetto Natale that offer tailor-made cards in which you can add pictures that you like to the illustration drawings! Such a good idea to wish Merry Christmas and Happy Ne Year!

a special gift from a special friend

Qualche giorno fa ho ricevuto questo regalo speciale...lo definisco in questo modo perchè non si tratta di una semplice copertina per la culla di Adele, ma è stata fatta personalizzare e arrivare da oltre oceano apposta per lei dalla mia amica Elizabeth. Liz, così la chiamo io, vive a NYC e ci siamo conosciute nel 2006 quando abbiamo condiviso l'appartamento per qualche mese durante il mio soggiorno americano. Da allora siamo rimaste amiche, ci siamo entrambe sposate e abbiamo avuto una figlia! Non mi aspettavo addirittura un pacco regalo apposta per noi...o meglio per Adele, ma è arrivato e mi ha riempito di gioia!Grazie di cuore Liz...XOXO!

A few days ago I received this special gift... I call it this way because it is not just a cover for the cradle of Adele, but it has been customized and arrived from overseas especially for my daughter from my friend Elizabeth. Liz, as I call her, lives in NYC and we met in 2006 when we shared the apartment for a few months during my stay in the US. Since then we have remained friends and we stayed in touch, we both get married and have a child! I really did not expect even a gift bag just for us ... or better for Adele...but it arrived and I was filled with joy: THANK YOU VERY MUCH LIZ ... XOXO!
