Dungaree and tshirt: Baby Gap

Buon lunedi!
Noi iniziamo la nostra terza settimana di vita con un outfit made in USA, tutto comprato (o regalato) da Gap: magliettina rosa con uccellini stampati e tuta di chambrie con ricami davanti e fiocchi applicati sulle bretelle.

We're starting our third week of life with an outfit made in USA, everything bought (or given) at Gap: pink tshirt with printed birds and chambrie dungaree with front embroidery and applied bows on shoulder pads.

Nei miei primi giorni in versione mamma mi sto divertendo molto a passeggiare per Milano con Adele alla scoperta dei negozi che trattano il mondo dei bambini.
Ieri sono stata da Frippino, in via Urbano III: si tratta della versione young di Frip, alternativo concept store davanti alle colonne di San Lorenzo, meta imprescindibile per gli amanti del fashion metropolitano, del design ricercato e della musica più di tendenza (consiglio un passaggio anche  a tutte le mamme, magari per rifarsi gli occhi o farsi un regalo che aiuti a sentirsi bene con se stesse!!).
Frippino con i suoi 7 anni di esperienza si propone come officina di uno stile dall'allure easy street e glamour. I marchi per lo più nord europei (di italiano troverete solo DouDou), richiamano quelli dell'adulto, primo fra tutti Acne (che però purtroppo non ha la collezione per neonati!).
L'idea di base è quella di proporre collezioni trendy, con forme e vestibilità già da adulto ma con tutta la qualità di cui necessitano i più piccoli.
Tra gli altri brands proposti citiamo Finger in the nose, Katvik e Kids Baby.
Ovviamente non ho potuto non comprare anche per Adele...per la quale ho scovato due pezzi fantastici che presto vi proporrò sul blog!

During my first days as a mum, I'm having fun walking around with Adele in order to discover children stores.
Yesterday I've been at  Frippino, in via Urbano III: this is the young version of Frip, alternative concept store in front of San Lorenzo's Columns, essential destination for fashion, design and tendency music's lovers (I suggest to every new mum to go around here to see something beautiful and, maybe, to give herself a present to help her feel good!!)
Frippino with is own 7 years of experience proposes itself as a shop with an easy street and glamour allure. Most of brands are from North Europe (the only italian brand that they have is DouDou) and they are the same that are in Frip Store,  first of all Acne (shame that it doesn't have newborn collection!).
Basically Frippino wants to propose trendy collections with shapes and wearability like adults but all the children quality.
Other brands are Finger in the nose, Katvik e Kids Baby.
Obviously I bought something for Adele. For her I found two amazing pieces that I'll publish in the blog asap!

Ancora collezione estiva per Adele: abitino a righe grigio melange e bianco con fiocco applicato per dare un tocco di femminilità, naturalmente la coulotte è incorporata.
buona giornata...noi andiamo a fare il primo controllo pediatrico!

Still summer collection for Adele: grey melange and white stripes dress with application bow to give a very feminine touch. Obviously the coulotte is combined.

mezzanotte contemporary kids store..è bello vedere che anche in Italia esistono realtà ad hoc per il childrenswear.
Qui i bambini sono trattati come tali: caramelle, matite e peluche per farli giocare ma, nello stesso tempo, massima attenzione al loro look. Lo definirei trendy e originale grazie all'accurata ricerca di marchi italiani ed internazionali (trovate l'elenco sul loro sito). Il prezzo medio (da 30euro in su) permette a tutti di fare almeno un acquisto e assicurarsi un capo speciale, di tendenza e qualità,  differente dalle proposte più tradizionali (anche nei colori che non rispecchiano i classici rosa e azzurri, per la fascia dei neonati..quella a cui in questo momento sono più attenta!).
Ciò che colpisce entrando nello store di Viale Premuda a Milano è l'attenzione ad ogni dettaglio; come sottolineato dalla proprietaria, Barbara Mezzanotte, l'ispirazione è parigina e più in generale  nord europea (dove tutto è maggiormente children friendly e orientato verso le famiglie!).
L'abbigliamento è il core business ma ampio spazio è dedicato anche al design per i piccoli e a eventi coinvolgenti.
Presto vedrete quello che ho acquistato per Adele..nel frattempo buono shopping da Mezzanotte! 


mezzanotte contemporary kids store..it's good to see that even in Italy there are spaces ad hoc for childrenswear.
Here kids are treated as they are: sweets, pencils, cuddlies to play with but, at the same time, the owner pays attention to their look.
I'd like to define the store trendy and original, thanks to the careful research of italian and international brands (on their website you find the list). Middle prices (30euros and up) allows everyone to buy at least on piece that is fashion and have a very good quality. Plus Mezzanotte's proposals are different from the traditional ones for childrenswear: I've noticed, for instance, that even colors for newborn boys&girls, in which I'm especially interested in, are not pink and light blue but something much more original!
Entering in Viale Premuda store in Milan, I was striken by the attention to the details; as Barbara Mezzanotte, the owner, told me, "the store inspiration is from Paris and North Europe countries, where everything is much more children and family friendly!".
Clothing is the core business but there are also design pieces for kids and events to entertain them and their moms.

You'll see soon what I bought for Adele, in the meantime go shopping to Mezzanotte Store!

Giornata uggiosa...ne approfittiamo per rilassarci a casa: ci vuole comodità senza, però,  dimenticare lo stile!anche per Adele un capo fluo quest'anno è d'obbligo (almeno per ricordarci l'estate che è agli sgoccioli)! Ecco la tuta a righe fuxia e bianche per farsi notare... anche al buio!

It's a rainy day..we're going to relax ourselves at home: that's why we're looking for something confortable without forgetting the style! This year also for Adele one fluo piece is a must have (at least to remember the summer that is going away)! Here's the fuchsia and white stripes babygro to be noticed... even in the dark!

Il sole continua a essere caldo e per un giro al parco cosa c'è di meglio che short di jeans e canottiera ovviamente coordinati da cintura e fiore applicato?!

Weather is still warm, so what's better than denim short and a top, obviously coordinated with belt and a flower applied, to getting around in the park?!

Ci siamo!
Finalmente è arrivata Adele ed è bellissima!
Quante volte ho provato ad immaginare il suo viso, le sue mani, i suoi piedi...eppure da domenica 9 settembre alle 10.27 del mattino tutto è cambiato, in modo totalmente inaspettato e indescrivibile! Per usare le parole di una canzone : Adele "sposti tutti i miei confini"(cfr. Ogni tanto, Gianna Nannini).
Ora siamo a casa e inizia la nuova vita in tre.
A presto per il primo outfit ufficiale di Adele!

Finally Adele is arrived and she's beautiful!
How many times have I tried to figured her face, hands and foot out but since Sunday Septetember 9 at 10.27 a.m. everything is changed beyond description. I'd like to use some words of an italian song: Adele "you cross all my borders"(cfr. Ogni tanto, Gianna Nannini).
Now we're at home and we're going to start our new life in three.

eccola!ho finalmente trovato la nostra mascotte... ricordate gli Aristogatti di Walt Disney con le mitiche oche Adelina e Guendalina Bla Bla??Proprio una delle due (non c'è bisogno di dire quale no?!) sarà il portafortuna del blog... ma ancora di più diventerà la fidata compagna di stanza di Adele!

here we are, I found our mascot...did you remember the Walt Disney cartoon "The AristoCats" with the amazing geese Abigail and Amalie?? Because in Italy one of them is called Little Adele, I've decided that she will be our blog good-luck charm, but most of all she'll be the trusty Adele's rommate!
