Pillole di FuoriSalone_ part 1

Buongiorno!

Good morning!
As promised, today we talk about FuoriSalone, or rather, let the pictures speak: in fact I'm just , I'll tell you what we have seen through some photos.
In the morning we were at Rossana Orlandi's space, in Via Bandello and then at the Museum of Science and Technology to see Tom Dixon and Fab.
The first location is one of the most important space for design, located in a residential area of the center, spread over several levels, with works of designers from all over the world in a magical atmosphere where young creative and famous ones can meet. Everything you see here is trendy or it will become and it is a truly international meeting point for professionals and curious to every corner of the world.

The Museum of Science and Technology in itself is already magical space and a museum really interesting, interactive and fun for young and old people, I really enjoyed how the location has been complied with while introducing design pieces very mixed with the existing environment. A beautiful journey between trains from the nineteenth-century and submarines used in the wars of the last century, mixed with modern LED (real trend of recent years), installation of wood and cardboard and use of fluorescent colors.

Nel pomeriggio siamo state in Via Cesare da Sesto per vedere I wish I was... terza edizione di  KIDSROOMZOOM (di cui vi avevo parlato qui) che propone eventi per avvicinare i bambini all'arte e al design contemporaneo.
Vi racconto tutto domani! NON MANCATE!

In the afternoon we were in Via Cesare da Sesto to see I wish I was... third edition of KIDSROOMZOOM (of which I talked about here), which offers events to introduce children to art and contemporary design.

Carillon: MiaStella

Buongiorno!
A domani!

Good morning!
we are in the middle of the week and today, to give us the daily charge, I use a single word: ENJOY!
Yes, because sometimes taken by a lot of thoughts, I forget to have fun, I mean to enjoy the little everyday life with Adele, who is amazing and a fantastic gift.
This carillon, originally was a box of French cheese, the lid of which was embroidered with the written. I bought it a month ago at MiaStella in Milan, a store which I told you about here, that reserves really special and fun pieces, the result of a careful research. I'm in love with this little object, so simple and minimal but very chic at the same time and, most af all, completely environmentally friendly as it is made up of recycle material, what I can desire more?
See you tomorrow!

Mia stella

Getting around in Milan, last week, thanks to my friend Francesca, I went to the opening of Mia stella in Gian Battista Vico street. This is a concept store arose from the collaboration between Mia collezioni per bambini and unduetrestella.
The first one is a store opened in Aosta (a city in north-west part of Italy) some years ago and become an e-shop that often proposes for the first time in Italy cutting-edge brands based on the good research of the two owners.
The second one, on the other hand, thanks to Paola Noé's passion for contemporary art, was born as an online project then transformed in a exhibition space; as explained on the website "the idea is to help children to believe that the beauty of art, its message and its questions are an important value to understand and cherish. It is essential teaching to look at art as teaching looking out the window, or in television". Based on this idea, all other projects are born in design, events, kitchen's fields, involving young and international artists, moms and, obviously, kids.
Finally, in 2011 Paola Noé and Austrian designer Thomas Maitz opened Kidsroomzoom a blog and project where they want to create a house for kids in which aestethic and practical beauty of the object is the most important thing.

Mia stella merges the artistic and curatorial research and commercial one. It intends itself as a small place, in terms of dimension but great in finding the most innovative trends in design, food, books, clothing and more for kids and not only!

Of course I'm excited seeing this project the reflection of my great two passions: for contemporary art (matter where I graduated and area of my early years of work) and for fashion aimed at 360°.
Good luck and let's keep in touch!
