Come ormai probabilmente saprete durante queste vacanze abbiamo passato qualche giorno a
LONDRA, da considerare ufficialmente il primo vero e proprio viaggio di Adele. Che dire?!Fantastico tutto quanto!Abbiamo iniziato con il volo da Linate a Heatrow: un'ora e mezza di nanna per Adele che per la prima volta in vita sua ha volato...senza accorgersi di nulla!
Good morning!we're finally back!
As you probabily already know, during this holiday we went to LONDON, considered to be officially Adele's first trip. What can I say?! Everything was awesome! We started with a flight from Linate to Heathrow: one hour and a half of sleep for Adele who for the first time in her life, flew... without even noticing anything!
GIORNO / DAY 1
Il nostro primo giorno da turisti ci ha portato, armati di tutto punto per far fronte al freddo (e qui bisogna ufficialmente ringraziare Moschino per la tuta trapuntata rosa, calda e perfettamente impermeabile e joolz che ci ha accompagnato tutti i giorni sostenendo i 6 kg di Adele, ma anche quelli delle nostre borse, zaini e shopping bags!)
Our first day as tourists took us, fully armed to face the cold (and here we must officially thank Moschino for pink clothing quilted, warm and completely waterproof, a must-have in London, and joolz that has been with us every day carrying on the 6 kg Adele, but also our bags, backpacks and shopping bags!)
a visitare la National Gallery e a passeggiare poi fino al Tamigi per vedere il Big Ben, Westminster e infine Buckingham Palace
to visit the National Gallery and then to walk up the Thames to see the Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and, finally, Buckingham Palace
Dopo la pausa pranzo nostra ma soprattutto di Adele (che merita di essere menzionata perchè è sempre riuscita a stare fuori tutto il giorno con noi, mangiando e cambiandosi dove riuscivamo, senza mai lamentarsi, anzi, dormendo molto e godendosi i suoi genitori e il mondo a suon di gorgheggi e urletti: insomma una vera
globe trotter pronta a scoprire il mondo intorno a lei!) ci siamo lanciati alla scoperta di Covent Garden, che in versione natalizia è una zona ancora più bella!Luci, bancarelle, negozi, scorci di palazzi e cortili mozzafiato!
After our lunch break but especially Adele's one (who deserves to be mentioned because she has always managed to stay out all day with us, eating and changing where we could, without complaining, but, sleeping a lot and enjoying her parents and the world as her sounds and trills showed us: in short, a real globe trotter ready to discover the world around her!), we launched to the discovery of Covent Garden, which, in Christmas version, looks even more beautiful! lights, stalls, shops, views of palaces and courtyards breathtaking!
GIORNO / DAY 2
Il secondo giorno siamo stati al mitico mercato di
Portobello Road a Notting Hill, certo spingere il passeggino su strade traboccanti di persone non è comodissimo, ma siamo comunque riusciti a goderci l'atmosfera magica di questo quartiere londinese che è proprio come l'omonimo film, mancava solo Hugh Grant.
The second day we were at the legendary Portobello Road market in Notting Hill, of course pushing the baby stroller on the streets overflowing with people is not comfortable, but we still managed to enjoy the magical atmosphere of this London neighborhood that is just like the movie of the same name, we just missed Hugh Grant.

Dalla tranquilla Notting Hill siamo poi passati (con un rapido giro nella
tube, altra nuova esperienza per Adele)
From quiet Notting Hill we are then passed (with a quick turn in the tube, another new experience for Adele)
a Camden Town, culla di tendenze street, negozi e piccoli mercati per teenagers, ma non solo, in cerca di pezzi che a breve diventeranno di moda (anche se, bisogna ammettere, che oggi si sta molto commercializzando anche questa zona!)
in Camden Town, the birthplace of streets style, with shops and small markets for teenagers, but not only, looking for right pieces that will become soon fashion (although, admittedly, that today is very marketing even this area!)
Altra tappa della giornata (la martona è quasi conclusa, ma vi assicuro che ne valeva la pena!) è stata quella a Brick Lane: area legata a tutto ciò che è vintage e retrò ma anche agli stilisti emergenti. Qui sono entrata, come non avrei potuto?!, da
OH BABY LONDON, piccolo negozio di abbigliamento da bambini "lucky kids" (come citato nelle etichette) che si caratterizza per le scelte funky sia nei colori che nelle stampe e scritte, divertenti e moderne, realizzate da giovani graphic designers.
Another stop of the day (the marathon is almost over, but I assure you it was worth it!) was in the Brick Lane area linked to anything that is vintage and retrò but also to emerging designers. I got inside, I couldn't resist,
OH BABY LONDON, small clothing store for children, "lucky kids" (as quoted on the label) which is characterized by the unconventional choices in colors and funky prints and written, funny and modern, created by young graphic designers.
Niente male questi primi due giorni, no??a domani con la seconda e ultima parte di racconti!
